Obama's Speech

So its been a while since anyone has been on this site....But.......I just read an article saying that Obama is expected to present a speech about the importance of education. From what I understood, The Depatment of Education, guided by Obama, created a guidline for his speech for different grades. Since he wants schools to watch it, he wants the questions to help them understand what he basically wants....Parents are opposed to him giving a speech based on the importance of education and I dont know why. It is actually a good thing; why some one would oppose this? You can think of it in two ways...

How would you feel if someone lectured to you about the importance of education? Well....How do you feel if some one cared about your future, and is encouraging you to do well??
